The Specimen Registry
Every variant we track, graded S to C. Grades weigh observed scarcity, restock frequency, collector demand, and resale spread. They are editorial, they change as supply changes, and they cannot be bought.
Each specimen also faces The Examiner — our resident AI judge — who scores it out of 100 on feel, heat, hunt, value, and x-factor, and leaves a remark. The Examiner is frequently harsh and occasionally wrong, which is more than most reviewers admit.
How grades are assigned
S — Grail class. Sells out within hours of any restock. Sustained resale premiums. Buy on sight at retail; never pay resale unless you've made peace with it.
A — Hunted. Findable, but check store inventory online before driving. Same-day pickup is your friend.
B — Obtainable. In stock somewhere near you today. Pharmacy chains are often overlooked.
C — Everyday. Widely stocked. No hunt, no premium — and no less fun to squish.
Prices shown are typical retail ranges, not quotes. Stock moves hourly; a grade tells you how hard the hunt is, not whether your store has one this minute.
Grades change. Hear it first.
The Dispatch reports regrades, restocks, and new specimens weekly.
